Career
For those who still don’t know, i’ve left Prudential (hereinafter Pru) for a good 8 months and i’m happy with my decision.
i miss my frens in Pru, my clients and definitely the fun we had at work/ out of work.
i guessed leaving them may not be a bad decision, bcz when God closes one door, he’ll open up a better one for you!
The grass is always greener on the other side, so be contented with what you have now and live with it!
I’m working with Credit Suisse (hereinafter as CS) (not the branch at ORQ nor ORL but the branch in CBP.
God is good, even thou he took away the flexibility of time i used to have (not needing to squeeze with the people on train bcz of our flexible hours in Pru),
he gave me a good company with fantastic employee benefits.
Name me a company that you know provides transport services to and fro for about 10 different places around Singapore.
CS has one of the better welfare (quote xiang’s mummy).
my team is small, just 6 of us and together with us in our big fish tank are people in the Corp Security Dept.
i love my fish tank!
even thou we are most of the time on our own (bcz our fish tank is restricted access) we’re happy in there!
With people like my director around, laughter has integrated into our work. That of cz makes work more fun!
started with them in March to date, 5 months and still counting!
i’m having a whale of time! ^^
Health
April alone, i went to the hospital for 5 times i think.
all bcz of my gastric problem.
did a day surgery/gastroscope in mid April as mentioned in the previous post , follow by alot of follow ups..
suppose to have another ultrasound scan for my gastric but i kinda defaulted it in a way.
nonetheless, have to start taking care of it before it gets worst again.
Life + Friends

i have wonderful friends whom i’ve been catching up with.

been meeting up more often than not.
to keep the 8 years of friendship going!
Was our last meet up the hotel stay?
nevertheless, i’m counting down 3 days to meeting them again!

Great bunch of people that shared one of my most missed memories in secondary school!
getting together is never easy. but i’m grateful that people do make an effort to attend all the event created!

Old fren
Met an old fren from JC last week.
lotsa catch up to do.. amazingly its not that awkward after so long of not keeping in contact!
there’s something that’s really bothering us.
Yes we are from the same JC, but we’re from diff Fac ie diff class, diff CCA, diff in most of our subject maybe except Econs.
So how on earth we met and how did we manage to get each other’s number.. Good question ya?
I’m sure many of you guys don’t know how you’ve this fren here and there…

Its going to be one year soon..
i hate to say this, but i’m honestly kinda tired of all the quarrels / arguements..
There’s this something that’s missing out from our relationship.
the communication:
normal circumstances we can carry out all sorts of conversation.
certain days, we just ended up arguing about almost everything.
the trust:
i’ve lost my trust once and i wanted to forgive and forget.
That’s a huge leap of faith.
to try to gain back the trust that was lost.
its defnitely easier said then done.
Until now, i still don’t have that same trust that we used to have that we both know will bring us to somewhere someday.
let’s just hope things can change for the better.
no idea how long more i can hold myself up in this situation of lack of faith too.

nonsense aside, i’m looking forward to spending time with you on the 9th, celebrating SIngaproe’s 45th Birthday!
